James Marshall Hendrix
by Jan Olofsson, London 1967
This
stunning image epitomises Hendrix as
he lets out an enormous cloud of
smoke at his agent’s office in Soho
London 1967. Because of Hendrix’s
reputation of experimentation with
LSD, the viewer naturally assumes
that Hendrix is smoking some kind of
“joint”, but if one looks closely
you will see it’s just a normal
cigarette..
Vintage 20 x 16inch
